We are so excited for our wedding day and hope you can be a part of it too. We wanted to provide information so as to help make organising the weekend as easy as possible. We have put together details we have taken the time to research so you don’t have to. We are hosting our wedding at Gruene Estate, New Braunfels, Texas. It has more than enough accommodation onsite to cover the guest numbers invited. It offers rooms, apartments and glamping options which are all ground level access. All events will take place at the same venue just in different parts of the estate. We understand not all guests may want to stay onsite and have listed local accommodation within walking distance of no more than 5 mins. Below you will find details including a map, accommodation and FAQs.
For your convenience we have put together a list of alternative accommodation within max 15 mins walking distance of the venue. Please mention you will be attending our wedding as we have secured a 15% discount with them.
We are providing a list of frequently asked questions to as to help clear up any uncertainties about the wedding. Pleease feel free to reach out to us if you have your own queries.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both the Wedding Ceremony and Reception are indoors however there is an outdoor terrace and garden area to enjoy if the weather allows.
Is there onsite parking?
There is plenty of free parking at the venue car park to include multiple wheelchair accessible parking. The main entrance is a 'No park' zone so please ensure you keep your eyes open for any 'No parking' signs.
Is there a recommended local taxi?
For those not staying with us at the venue no transportation has been arranged. Dave Moore 0454.544.5318 comes highly recommended. The staff have otherwise been known to drop guests to nearby accommodation where they are available to do so.
Can we take photos on the day?
Oh please yes indeed. In fact can you share and take us using our hashtag #evanandannamemories on social media so we can use these in a digital album we wish to create. The only time we ask to please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. This is an important moment (and possibly nerve-wrecking).We have a photographer for this time and will limit and distractions.
I am not from the area. Where should I stay?
The venue has more than enough accommodation to cover all guests and more with a variety of types from rooms, apartments and glamping. We have a special discounted rate secured with the venue we would love for you to avial of. However we understand that not all guests will want to and so have researched and viewed a list of nearby accommodation which offers favourable rates.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP no later than 15th of April 2024 in order to provide our venue with correct numbers for logistics.

Are kids welcome?
We respectfully ask that only children related to the Bride and Groom attend the wedding day. We have organised a children’s party in the park playground with adjoining sleeping cabins should they be partied out. This area is within 5 mins walk from the main ceremony event so they won’t be too far. A group of teens from within the family have offered to care for them on the day.
